I picked the hotel because of a mention on their website of it being convenient if you were on a cruise. This turned out to be very important as we couldn't get a taxi there due to the Marathon in that area, and had to wheel our luggage to the hotel or wait 2 hours at the port for a taxi. We were able to get from the port to the hotel in about 15 easy minutes. Great location also to Las Ramblas and many fine restaurant within a 15-minute walk. The room was large and comfortable as was the bathroom. A safe in the closet for valuables. Since we arrived way before check-in we were able to store all of our luggage safely in a locked room. This was a fabulous asset. And we had a very late flight out of Barcelona the next day and they graciously let us store out luggage again so we could explore the city until we got back there at 3:30 when they called a taxi for us and within 10 minutes we were on our way to the airport. Fantastic service. I might mention that just a bit down Ample Street, from the hotel, is an art museum with a breathtaking exhibition of Marc Chagall's paintings and etchings and a stunning exhibition of the work of Matteo Pugliese. We spent three hours there. Such a wonderful thing; so close. One also has access, quickly, to the waterfront and behind the berthed boats is a large shopping center that is fun to check out. Lovely walk with lots to see and a pedestrian bridge that safely gets you over the harbor's busy frontage road.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Catalonia Port in Barcelona, and I wanted to express our sincere appreciation for the experience we had. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff at the reception was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay in Barcelona. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities we could ask for. The modern design and cozy ambiance made it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the city. We were particularly impressed by the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the entire facility. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, within walking distance to many of Barcelona's top attractions and the beautiful port area. We enjoyed being able to explore the city easily and return to such a peaceful and quiet retreat. Breakfast was a delight, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to everyone's tastes. The quality of the food and the service provided by the restaurant staff were both top-notch. Overall, our stay at Catalonia Port exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our next visit to Barcelona and will highly recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you to the entire team at Catalonia Port for making our stay so memorable!

Overall, the hotel is excellent. I liked the interior. The staff is friendly. The location is generally wonderful. In a quiet place, but at the same time everything is close by, both the center and the embankment. There are many cafes, restaurants, grocery stores nearby. The only thing is that the wooden walls in the room and the closet were covered in palm prints (like after renovation). And on the second day they did not leave us water. When we asked at the reception, they said that water was a compliment only on the first day, but they gave us water. And the next day they put water in the room.

A great boutique hotel close to the port and just to the side of the Rambla. It's location makes most things in Barcelona within walking distance. The room was comfortable with a king size bed and all the mod cons that you need. The breakfast had a good selection with the most amazing orange juicer (would have packed it in my bag if it fitted). The staff were very pleasant and helpful with questions that we had.

Breakfast was good with good variety and they made eggs to order. The location was excellent, close to the Gothic quarter, and Port, and just a few minutes walk to La Rambla.

the overall property was excellent in many ways. Room Size, Location, Breakfast was enormous and the quality was top notch….but most of all, the FRONT desk and Concierge and Breakfast area personnel… were most most helpful and Warm. special mention for Victor at the Front desk who was exceptional.

Excellent location on the lower edge the Gothic Quarter, just a short stroll from the bottom of La Rambla. This hotel would be of particular interest to those who are embarking on a cruise ship--the main cruise terminal is just a three- or four-minute taxi ride away. A variety of restaurants and shops are within just a block or two along a narrow, quiet (for Barcelona) one-way lane. A word of thanks to Nicolas who greeted us with a welcoming smile and a glass of cava, and offered us excellent advice on nearby restaurants. The facilities were clean, modern, "green," and well-appointed . . . absolutely perfect for our brief, pre-cruise overnight stay. The entire staff was helpful and courteous. It is our new favorite in Barcelona.

A boutique hotel of ~25 rooms, beautiful layout and decor, a wonderful exterior lounge area / deck space with a small pool with great bar service to the pool deck. A small but very functional fitness room with 3 cardio machines and dumbbells. The room was very tasteful, had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable.
